About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Despatch Clerk to join our warehouse team. Reporting to the Warehouse Distribution Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the despatch office, coordinating distribution activities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution Coordination

• Manage daily distribution and delivery schedules
• Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and administrative tasks
• File and distribute paperwork
• Liaise with carriers and coordinate courier services
• Provide consistent, high‑level customer service

Inventory & Consumables Management

• Verify transport/freight invoices and delivery dockets
• Complete freight documentation and assist drivers
• Follow cancellation procedures and liaise with the National Customer Service Centre
• Monitor and maintain stationery and consumables
• Coordinate proof‑of‑delivery processes

After‑Service Care

• Coordinate and deliver OE fitment stock (tyres/rims)
• Assist with monthly stocktakes
• Maintain accurate despatch records

Reverse Logistics

• Coordinate customer returns per Goods Return Policy
• Process new tyre returns for customer credit
• Manage warranty tyre returns for Technical Field Services inspection

About You

• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Confident liaising with carriers, drivers, and internal teams
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Experience in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not essential)

Our Rotorua commercial store is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Office Administrator to keep our operations running smoothly. This is a key administrative role within our Rotorua commercial store, sitting at the heart of our day-to-day operations. You'll be the person who keeps our processes on track - managing paperwork accurately, supporting the store team and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

• Collating and authorising all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables invoices as well as managing overdue customer accounts
• General administration and data entry, including accurate job card management

The Role

This is an essential role within our Paraparaumu store that will see you providing a range of tyre services, including fitting, balancing and repairs to our customers within the region. Tony's Tyres has been keeping Kiwi drivers safely on the road since 1982, and our Rotorua store is a busy, well-equipped workshop with a team that takes real pride in what they do.

We're looking for a Wheel Alignment Technician to join us - whilst experience is great, work ethic matters more to us. If you've got the attitude, the aptitude, and a genuine interest in vehicles, we'll back you with the training to build a real career here.

The Opportunity

You'll be a key part of our workshop team, performing wheel alignments and adjustments on customer vehicles, and helping customers understand what their vehicle needs and why. You'll also support the wider team with tyre fitments and repairs and get involved in the day-to-day rhythm of a high-performing store.
This is a full-time role working 47.5hrs across Monday to Saturday.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Performing wheel alignments and steering and suspension adjustments using our computerised alignment equipment
• Test-driving vehicles to confirm the work is right before handing back the keys
• Advising customers on tyre options, vehicle handling and what their car actually needs - no jargon, no pressure
• Supporting the team with tyre fitting, puncture repairs and general workshop duties
• Completing job cards and paperwork accurately and on time
• Keeping your workspace clean, safe and organised

What We're Looking For

We hire for attitude as much as experience. You don't need to have run an alignment machine before, but you do need to bring the right foundation:

• A genuine interest in vehicles and hands-on mechanical work
• Good physical fitness - this is active, on-your-feet work
• A customer-first mindset and the confidence to talk people through what you've found
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A full New Zealand Driver's Licence
• Experienced candidates welcome - if you've worked with wheel alignment equipment or in an automotive workshop before, we'd love to hear about it
