This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support the Branch Manager in driving the day-to-day performance of the store. This is a 45-hour per week role, Monday to Saturday.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the Branch Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the team
• Driving store performance by managing sales and stock to ensure targets are met
• Delivering a consistently excellent in-store customer experience
• Maintaining high standards for store presentation and Health & Safety compliance
• Performing Wheel Alignments and being hands-on across all areas of the workshop
• Assisting with training, performance management, and adherence to company procedures

We're on the lookout for a qualified, experienced Mechanic who takes pride in their craft and wants to work somewhere that genuinely values the people on the tools.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time permanent role where you'll be a key part of the workshop team, delivering high-quality mechanical servicing and repairs across a wide variety of customer vehicles. You'll work in a well-organised, safety-first environment where your expertise is respected and your development is supported.

This is a 40-hour per week role, Monday to Friday.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Performing general and specialised mechanical repairs and servicing across a range of vehicles
• Accurately diagnosing faults using modern testing equipment
• Conducting inspections and ensuring all work meets rigorous safety and compliance standards
• Communicating repair work and recommendations to customers in a clear, professional manner

What We're Looking For

You'll bring solid hands-on experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a customer-first attitude. To be considered, you'll need:

• A Level 4 Certificate in Light Automotive (or equivalent), or a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience within the NZ market
• A full New Zealand Driver's Licence
• A current WOF Inspector's Certificate, or the willingness and eligibility to obtain one
• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service
• Solid computer literacy and technical proficiency

The Role

This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you'll run your own fully-equipped tyre van, travelling out to customers at their homes and workplaces across Auckland. You'll complete tyre fitting and balancing, along with basic servicing, on a range of passenger vehicles. You'll need to be able to diagnose tyre wear and provide excellent service to customers on products, features and benefits whilst managing your own van and keeping safety as your number one priority.

To be successful you will need:

• A full, clean Driver's License
• An excellent work ethic and strong customer service skills
• Good mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills
• The confidence to work independently and manage your own van, schedule and workload without direct supervision
• Good organisational skills to stay on top of bookings, stock and your day as you move between jobs

The Role

This is an essential role within our Paraparaumu store that will see you providing a range of tyre services, including fitting, balancing and repairs to our customers within the region. You will need to be able to diagnose tyre wear as well as provide excellent service to customers on products, features and benefits, whilst keeping safety as a number one priority. 
This position is 20 hours per week, including a compulsory 5-hour shift on Saturday. The remaining 15 hours will be scheduled across either Monday and Tuesday, or Thursday and Friday.

To be successful you will need:

• A full, clean Driver's License
• An excellent work ethic and strong customer service skills
• Good mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised

Tony's Tyres has been keeping Kiwi drivers safely on the road since 1982, and our Rotorua store is a busy, well-equipped workshop with a team that takes real pride in what they do.

We're looking for a Wheel Alignment Technician to join us - whilst experience is great, work ethic matters more to us. If you've got the attitude, the aptitude, and a genuine interest in vehicles, we'll back you with the training to build a real career here.

The Opportunity

You'll be a key part of our workshop team, performing wheel alignments and adjustments on customer vehicles, and helping customers understand what their vehicle needs and why. You'll also support the wider team with tyre fitments and repairs and get involved in the day-to-day rhythm of a high-performing store.
This is a full-time role working 47.5hrs across Monday to Saturday.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Performing wheel alignments and steering and suspension adjustments using our computerised alignment equipment
• Test-driving vehicles to confirm the work is right before handing back the keys
• Advising customers on tyre options, vehicle handling and what their car actually needs - no jargon, no pressure
• Supporting the team with tyre fitting, puncture repairs and general workshop duties
• Completing job cards and paperwork accurately and on time
• Keeping your workspace clean, safe and organised

What We're Looking For

We hire for attitude as much as experience. You don't need to have run an alignment machine before, but you do need to bring the right foundation:

• A genuine interest in vehicles and hands-on mechanical work
• Good physical fitness - this is active, on-your-feet work
• A customer-first mindset and the confidence to talk people through what you've found
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A full New Zealand Driver's Licence
