Take Charge of a Dedicated Fleet Technician Team at Bridgestone We are looking for a motivated Fleet Service Manager to lead one of our two dedicated Fleet Service Technician teams. Reporting directly to the Fleet Service Operations Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional service to our commercial customers while driving performance, safety, and operational excellence. What You’ll Be Doing As a Fleet Service Manager, you’ll take ownership of one of two technician teams, ensuring they deliver best practice fleet services safely, efficiently, and consistently. Customer Service Leadership - Ensure your team delivers service aligned with SLAs
- Manage ETA (Emergency Tyre Assistance) rosters and timely call‑out responses
- Oversee accurate handling of claims and minimise unnecessary escalations
- Provide insights on customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends
Team Recruitment, Training & Development - Recruit and onboard new team members in partnership with HR and your manager
- Support performance management, coaching, and disciplinary processes
- Coordinate training, accreditation, and quarterly check-ins for your team
- Build a positive, engaged, TRACE aligned team culture
Operational Management - Achieve monthly sales, profit, and operational targets for your team
- Manage budgets, equipment requests, and operational expenses
- Monitor technician productivity and implement improvement plans
- Oversee scheduling, GPS reporting, depot audits, and stocktakes
- Ensure accurate B Mobile usage and timely invoicing
- Provide after hours support for ETAs and service coordination
- Complete operational tasks as directed by the Fleet Service Operations Manager
Compliance & Safety - Ensure your team operates in line with corporate policies and WHSE requirements
- Maintain security of products, equipment, and documentation
- Oversee vehicle and equipment servicing and reporting
- Maintain site and offsite locations to audit ready standards
